Shorewest, Realtors(r) Relaunches Shorewest TV on Over-the-air Channel 58.4 Reaching Over 900,000 Homes
Shorewest, Realtors exclusive television channel – Shorewest TV – now reaches over 900,000 homes in southeastern Wisconsin with its new over-the-air multicast channel 58.4.
Since Shorewest TV launched in October of 2005, it has been available exclusively on digital cable with Time Warner and Charter Network. Now, with the recent transition to digital over-the-air television, Shorewest relaunched Shorewest TV on a new multicast channel with Channel 58. This has created much greater visibility and dramatically increased the number of television households able to see Shorewest TV.
What is Shorewest TV?
Shorewest TV is a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week television channel dedicated exclusively to Shorewest listings, local communities and our sponsors. Shorewest TV is on over-the-air Channel 58.4, Time Warner Cable digital channel 984 (currently 184 until 10/28/09) and Charter Cable digital channel 966 (and VOD Channel 1 and 999 in Rock County).
Over 900,000 homes in southeastern Wisconsin will have access to Shorewest TV via the new over-the-air signal on Channel 58.4, Time Warner Cable digital channel 984 (currently 184 until 10/28/09) and Charter Cable digital channel 966 (and VOD Channel 1 and 999 in Rock County). Only households with satellite services such as DirectTV or Dish network and U-Verse will not have access, equaling less than 10% of households in southeastern Wisconsin.
“We’re excited to relaunch Shorewest TV on over-the-air television,” says Joseph A. Horning, president of Shorewest, Realtors. “With the new digital programming, new over-the-air channels were available. It was a perfect fit! Now we reach over 900,000 homes compared with 250,000 we previously reached with cable.”
“Shorewest TV is exclusive to Shorewest,” Horning adds. “And it is just one more tool we have to sell our listings. Our buyers, sellers and sales associates all benefit with Shorewest TV. We are constantly getting calls from viewers who saw a listing on TV they are interested in.”
